Kings Island featuring Soak City Waterpark
Kings Island is the largest amusement and water park in the Midwest, offering more than 80 state of the art rides, shows and attractions. Admission includes access to Soak City, a premier waterpark with more than 30 water slides and a 650,000-gallon wave pool. In the fall thrill seekers experience Halloween Haunt, a weekend evening event featuring a variety of spooky attractions.
LaComedia Dinner Theater
Guests enjoy a mouthwatering dinner buffet when attending one of six Broadway-style shows per year. Productions at LaComedia feature talent cast from New York City as well as local auditions, ensuring that performers are the best available. The quality dinner buffet includes a signature salad with Papaya Chutney Dressing, chef-carved meats, deep fried Norwegian cod, famous sweet potato souffle, fresh bakes breads, dishes that “represent the ‘flavor’ of the current production” and much more.
Miami Valley Gaming
Miami Valley Gaming is Southwest Ohio’s newest gaming facility. Conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Kirkwood Inn, guests enjoy the excitement of 1,600 gaming machines, live harness racing, simulcasting and dining. This facility features a 5/8-mile track, 156-stall paddock and a 14,600-square-foot grandstand that seats approximately 1,000 people.
Ozone Zipline Adventures
A department of YMCA Camp Kern, at Ozone Zipline Adventures guests suit up and breeze through and above the canopy of the Little Miami River valley on ziplines. On this educational canopy tour guests learn gain insight about 500-million-year-old fossils, 2000-year-old Native American earthworks, current issues of water conservation and habitat loss, and local flora and fauna from professional guides
Morgan’s Outdoor Adventures
When visiting Morgan’s Canoe Livery at Ft. Ancient, guests may seasonally canoe or kayak down the Little Miami River through scenic Oregonia, Ohio. Rentals range from a short three-mile trip to full day, 18-mile journey.
Ft. Ancient Memorial
This American Indian hilltop enclosure was built nearly 2000 years ago overlooking the Little Miami River. Excavations have revealed 18,000 feet of preserved embankment walls, which enclose the ceremonial space. This memorial features scenic hiking trails and an educational indoor museum.
Ohio Renaissance Festival
Featuring nearly 100 shows, over 135 arts and crafts shops, historical food and drink, fun games, human-powered rides and over 150 costumed characters including Queen Elizabeth, this re-created 16th Century English village is 400 years of fall entertainment for all ages. Event dates are September 3rd — October 23, 2016!
Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail
Kirkwood Inn is conveniently located approximately four miles from the Little Miami Scenic Trail in South Lebanon and Kings Mills. This “rails to trails” bike trail, commonly known as The Loveland Bike Trail, follows the original route the Little Miami Railroad ran in 1937.
Valley Vineyards Winery, Cellar and Restaurant

Lazer Kraze: Laser Tag and Family Fun Center
This family fun center near Kings Island features multilevel laser tag arenas, arcades, a laser maze and snack bar with fresh made pizza.

Lebanon Raceway and Simulcast Center
Less than seven miles from Kirkwood Inn, guests enjoy live horse races and simulcasting at Lebanon Raceway. This location is also home to the Warren County fairgrounds.

National Underground Railroad and Freedom Center
Located on the Ohio River in Cincinnati, this museum educates visitors about the 100,000 enslaved people who sought freedom through the Underground Railroad during the 1800s. The Center focuses on both struggles from the past and present, contextualizing the history of the Underground Railroad in the broader U.S. struggle for freedom. Exhibits include “Invisible: Slavery Today” which is the world’s first permanent, museum-quality exhibit on modern-day human trafficking and slavery.
National Museum of the United States Air Force
Visitors see Air Force exhibits and restoration projects at the National Museum of the United States Air Force which offers free admission to guests.
Cincinnati Art Museum
The Cincinnati Art Museum features a collection of more the 60,000 works including pieces by prominent artists spanning 6,000 years. Located in Eden Park, the museum, which offers free admission to guests, also hosts national and international traveling exhibitions each year.
This museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, featuring scenes of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and dinosaurs roaming near Eden’s Rivers.

Great American Ballpark

Southwest Golf Ranch

Harmon Golf Club

Crooked Tree Golf Course
