Kirkwood Inn’s cancellation policy for motel rooms is 48 hours.

If you booked with us directly, please call us at least two days in advance should you need to update your reservation.

If you have made your reservation through a third-party site like Expedia, please make sure to cancel through the platform used for booking.

If you do not honor our 48-hour cancellation policy, the credit card you used to hold your reservation may be charged for your stay.

Kirkwood Inn is conveniently located less than four miles from Kings Island, or about an eight-minute drive. We’re so close, you can view the amusement park’s fireworks display from our outdoor pool during summer season.

Kirkwood Inn is nestled along the city’s new shared-use paths, which offer convenient access to the Little Miami Scenic Trail. 

The motel and historic dining house are located approximately four miles from an access point to this popular bike trail in the South Lebanon and Kings Mills area. This “rails to trails” bike trail, commonly known as The Loveland Bike Trail, follows the original route the Little Miami Railroad ran in 1937. Many come to Kirkwood Inn specifically for long-distance biking getaways.

Kirkwood Inn is a two-story motel with exterior corridors. Our 1970s classic roadside motel does not have an elevator, but offers first-floor rooms upon request whenever possible.

While select bathrooms are equipped with grab bars, they do not feature roll-in showers. Vanity/sink areas are located within the main room, while toilets and tubs are in a smaller doored space.

The neighboring Historic Kirkwood House is wheelchair accessible.

May 1 through November 1, breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10 a.m. in the on-site Historic Kirkwood House.

From November 2 to April 30 Kirkwood Inn no longer offers its breakfast buffet, but is happy to recommend nearby local eateries.

Served from May 1 through November 1, our signature breakfast buffet is fully complimentary for all Kirkwood Inn motel guests.

Visitors can join us for breakfast for $15+ tax per adult (free for children under 10).

Please contact us for reservations and stop by the front lobby after breakfast for payment.

Kirkwood Inn’s pool is open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. during summer season, weather permitting.
