“Loved the Kirkwood Inn! Staff very helpful and friendly. Room and beds [were] very clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was outstanding and delicious. Nice selection of pastries, fruit—and the hot breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, pancakes… Located in Mason, it was easy to get to Kings Island as well as Lebanon and the Golden Lamb. “You don't find many places like this anymore. Felt like family from the moment we checked in. Our room was clean and comfortable, the grounds were lovely, and the pool was sparkling. Breakfast was included and served in a historic home built in the 1700s. Across the street was a lovely park with a paved trail and a fun brewery. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!”

“We stayed here for the Cincinnati Open and though it's a little bit of an older hotel, it was extremely clean and quaint. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and everyone was so nice. It's much better than your commercial hotels because they have an outside gazebo and tables to sit outside, surrounded with a fireplace and trees. Would definitely recommend.”

The rooms are decorated with what I would call colonial furnishings, but felt modern and recently renovated. “This is quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The grounds were beautiful, set in a peaceful country location. The motel-style layout allowed me to park right in front of my room, offering the kind of privacy I love, but with the quaint charm and class of a boutique inn. Everything was impeccably clean, both inside and out. The decor had a unique, old-fashioned feel. The room was quiet…I haven’t slept that well in ages. The staff was just as exceptional—genuine, friendly, down-to-earth, and incredibly generous. As a bonus, I was greeted by the sweetest little King Spaniel, Francy [in the lobby]. I truly can’t wait to come back.”
